This is capitalism at its worst. TV networks (channels that hold costly sports rights) bully cable companies (the ones you buy your TV channels from as a bundle) into paying more around sports season.
These contracts, by design, are due for renewal right around the time when sports begin. The NBA just began. College football and the NFL are a month in. Both sides take the beef to the public court.
And shamelessly create websites that urge fans to call out the other side. And remind them that they can always switch to their competitor. Ugly!
