If you are looking for a minimalistic blogging platform like Pagecord, HeyWorld or Smol.pub; Gridea has a refreshingly clean interface. $10 per year is competitive than most other options. I do not think the service has much traction but lets you export out your content with ease if you want to move. Supports custom domains for 3 websites. Here is an example page -
